A great chance is now available for an Apprentice Fitter to join our team. This role would ideally suit someone who has recently finished year 12 or in the process of doing so.

About the Role

Under supervision, the Apprentice Maintenance Fitter will be involved in fitting and assembling parts and sub-assemblies made from metal and other materials for production machinery and other equipment, working from detailed drawings or specifications using hand and machine tools and precision measuring instruments.

Essential Skills:

Eligible for the prescribed apprenticeship with a genuine commitment to completion.

Completed or in the process of completing Year 12.

Intermediate to advanced mathematics skills.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all safety requirements of the position.

Possess solid problem solving skills with an eye for detail.

Have good interpersonal and communications skills.

Be a reliable team player who is motivated and eager to learn
