About the roles

Beta Health is growing and seeking a passionate dietitian to join our team in Ipswich, Queensland. This is a part-time opportunity to work with our client base and support our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community. What you'll be doing
- Provide individualised dietetics counselling to patients with a range of medical conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic kidney disease.
- Develop and implement evidence-based plans and programs to help patients manage their health conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of dietetics
- Contribute to the development and delivery of group education sessions and workshops
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, in compliance with professional and organisational standards Mandatory qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, or equivalent qualification What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support patients from diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations
- Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on delivering patient-centred care
- Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems and other relevant software What we offer
