Apprentice Baker (North Ipswich)

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic **Part time** or **School Based** Apprentice Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Ipswich (no experience necessary).

Completing an Apprenticeship with Bakers Delight involves more than just going to school or training. Our Apprentices are hands on from day one. You will learn the art and science of baking through formal training, through one-on-one coaching and support from baking team members and through practice, practice, practice.

At Bakers Delight, our Apprentices are responsible for: Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs. Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery. Assisting the Production Manager with stock control and production expenses. Learning new skills and products. Providing delightful customer service when required.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:Have a passion for baking. Be a morning person! Some shifts commences from 2am. A positive attitude and thrive in a team environment. Have basic literacy and numeracy skills. Be prepared to work hard and get your hands dirty.

To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. In return for your success you will receive ongoing coaching and mentoring, the opportunity to learn new skills and gain a qualification, whilst working as part of a team in a fun and supportive environment.
