About us

We are looking for Junior Retail Bakery Assistants who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hard-working to join our excellent team in the Ipswicharea.

To be successful in this role you musthave work experience in hospitality e.g. Bakeries, Cafes and Food Retail. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our bakery into a favourite local spot.

As a Junior Retail Bakery Assistant, you will be receiving ongoing development and training, and the opportunity to work as part of a big team in a busy, fun and supportive environment.

Salary will be based on the general retail award._

Your key roles and responsibilities will include:

Assist day-to-day operations of the bakery

Providing excellent customer service

Merchandising the bakery and café products

Provide training to new employees on drinks preparation and proper use of the store equipment if required

Ensure a high standard of bakery presentation and store’s cleanliness

Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses

Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed

Requirements:

Hospitality experiences including customer services

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Excellent problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
