The Harvey Norman Booval Carpet, Rugs and Flooring Team is seeking a passionate, customer service focused _Sales Associate / Operations Clerk_ to join them in delivering a great customer experience, _Always!_ to their customers.
As a_ Sales Associate / Operations Clerk_, you will be an important part of the team facilitating Showroom admin and always working to find the best outcome for our customers.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Independently manage day-to-day customer service, sales, quotes, processing of orders, merchandising and cashiering.
- Confidently speak to customers on the phone and in person.
- Coordinate contractors and customers' orders from suppliers.
- Develop strong product knowledge.
**About you**:
- Have a passion for customers and delivering excellent service
- Be motivated and results driven with great customer service
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
- Have a great eye for detail and a flair for merchandising
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Be organised and efficient
- Efficient cash handling and POS experience is desirable
- Experience resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate services
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
- Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late night trades
