Position Overview We’re looking for a Casual Cook to join our team at The Beach House Restaurant & Bar located on the One Mile Beach Holidays site, reporting to the Venue Manager in the NSW Mid North Coast region. - Oversee daily food preparation, cooking, presentation and overall kitchen quality.
- Manage stock, ordering, daily prep and inspect all incoming produce.
- Maintain strict food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards.
- Minimise waste and ensure freshness through efficient use of ingredients.
- Support team and operational needs, stepping into additional duties when required. Qualifications and Attributes
- Put guests first, making decisions with their experience and safety front of mind.
- Work efficiently, manage your time well and uphold high quality and food safety standards.
- Collaborate positively with others, staying resilient and level‑headed under pressure.
- Bring experience in a commercial kitchen, delivering food that delights guests and meets safety requirements.
- Understand food safety, cost control and industry standards, and apply Ingenia policies and SOPs in daily work.
