What it's like to work with us | West Moreton Health About The Role This role is responsible for strengthening service delivery through clear governance structures, optimised use of resources and the coordinated deployment of specialist skillsets across PYDHS. The Nurse Manager will lead the integration of health promotion and preventative health approaches within custodial healthcare, ensuring alignment with contemporary evidence-based practice and organisational priorities. About You Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to apply specialised knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory in PYDHS nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.
- Demonstrated management experience and capability with an ability and commitment to practice collaboratively within the and the broader multidisciplinary health care team to deliver high quality care.
- Demonstrated data analysis; outcome evaluation; service improvement and development skills.
- Demonstrated management knowledge and skills specifically human resource management and advanced financial literacy within the healthcare environment. Mandatory Requirements
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
