**About the role**

As Executive Support and Research Officer you will be responsible for providing high-level support to the General Manager (Corporate Services) to ensure the effective functioning of the Corporate Services Department. Your focus will be on overseeing executive administration and departmental office operations.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Deliver confidential executive administrative support to senior managers prioritising workflow, coordinating appointments and daily activities
- Lead the Corporate Services administration support function, providing professional guidance, development and mentoring to drive continuous improvement and consistency across the department
- Manage, quality control, and prepare documents such as meeting agendas, briefing notes, committee reports, and correspondence
- Collaborate with the Office of the Mayor, Councillor Support, Office of the CEO, and other executive support teams to optimise the exchange of information ensuring quality communication and a consistent approach across Council

**About you**

To be successful in this role it is desirable to have:

- Tertiary qualifications in business administration/management or similar discipline
- Extensive administration experience, ideally in government or local government
- Current Queensland C Class Driver’s Licence

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commencing at $93,169 plus 12.5% superannuation.
