Field Worker B (All Terrain Mower Operator) - Open (Ipswich)

**About the role**

This role is part of the Open Space team and you will enjoy maintaining and mowing the wonderful parks and reserves in Ipswich for the community to enjoy.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Operate machinery and undertake detailed maintenance of gardens, turf areas, natural areas and drainage assets across the city
- Maintain machinery and equipment
- Work within a team and provide feedback on workplans

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Current MR Driver Licence would be an advantage
- Experience operating mowers and machinery
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- FIT Testing for respiratory protection equipment: workers must pass a respirator fit test before they first start wearing a tight-fitting respirator and at regular intervals during their employment. Workers must be clean shaven or only have facial hair that doesn't interfere with the fitting surfaces and the valve of the respirator
- You may be required to have a Q Fever Immunisation

A pre-employment medical is required for this role (including drug and alcohol testing).
