Casual Cleaner (Ipswich)

We are seeking motivated cleaners to work across our St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital on a casual basis. This chance will have you being a part of a brilliant team of people responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to operating theatres
- Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Upholding infection control standards by adhering to standard protocols and any additional precautions
- Disposing of soiled general and clinical waste
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved About You The successful candidates will be punctual, reliable and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Compliance Workplace, Health and Safety and Infection Control
- Have experience in cleaning services
- Be a team player and love to work within a large team
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
- Self-motivation and proficiency in working effectively while adhering to instructions and infection prevention and control
