- Be in control of your work life balance. Qualifications & experience Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability or minimum 1 year previous experience working in Disability
- NDIS worker screening & Working with Children Check
- Current drivers license
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Applicants must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of technology used for rosters, recording progress notes, policies and procedures etc
- Empathy, patience and a genuine desire or passion for helping others
- Be very flexible with availability, working a variety of shifts throughout the day, including early morning, evening and weekend shifts Tasks & responsibilities
- Support and assist participants to perform daily living tasks
- Support and assist participants to engage with their communities
- Support participants to develop their skills, abilities and confidence
- Build relationships with participants whilst maintaining professional boundaries at all times
- Promote and assist participants to live an active, healthy lifestyle
- Support clients to achieve their personal and NDIS goals
- Follow all policies and procedures and record daily progress reports for supports provided Benefits
