Facility Manager (Cobar)

Position Overview Cobar, New South Wales – Full‑time We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager or assistant manager to lead the Lilliane Brady Village, a 43‑bed residential aged care facility. The role reports to the Director of Corporate and Community Services and focuses on maintaining compliance, quality, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and maintain accreditation readiness.
- Oversee clinical governance, care quality, and continuous improvement systems.
- Support achievement of care minutes targets and workforce capability development.
- Manage AN‑ACC funding performance, admissions and occupancy sustainability.
- Provide strong leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary staff.
- Support a positive workplace culture aligned with Council’s ACE IT values.
- Manage service budgets, reporting and operational planning.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, regulators and community stakeholders. About You
- Registered Nurse DIV 1 – AHPRA registered.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in residential aged care or a comparable clinical service environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance and quality processes in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Energetic leadership skills to build an empowered, positive team culture.
- Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of good governance, continuous improvement, risk management and financial control.
- Sound knowledge of fees, charges and Commonwealth funding relevant to a Commonwealth subsidised residential aged care, including AN ANC. Benefits
