Facility Manager Cobar

Position Overview

Cobar, New South Wales – Full‑time

We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager or assistant manager to lead the Lilliane Brady Village, a 43‑bed residential aged care facility. The role reports to the Director of Corporate and Community Services and focuses on maintaining compliance, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and maintain accreditation readiness.

Oversee clinical governance, care quality, and continuous improvement systems.

Support achievement of care minutes targets and workforce capability development.

Manage AN‑ACC funding performance, admissions and occupancy sustainability.

Provide strong leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary staff.

Support a positive workplace culture aligned with Council’s ACE IT values.

Manage service budgets, reporting and operational planning.

Maintain solid relationships with residents, families, regulators and community stakeholders.

About You

Registered Nurse DIV 1 – AHPRA registered.

Demonstrated leadership experience in residential aged care or a comparable clinical service environment.

Comprehensive understanding of compliance and quality processes in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Energetic leadership skills to build an empowered, positive team culture.

Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Solid understanding of good governance, continuous improvement, risk management and financial control.

Sound knowledge of fees, charges and Commonwealth funding relevant to a Commonwealth subsidised residential aged care, including AN ANC.
