The Jimboomba Tavern is looking for a dedicated Gaming Manager to own our gaming operations and lead a service-focused team in one of the region’s busiest venues. At "The Jimboomba," our gaming room is a high-performance engine room. We aren't looking for an administrator; we need a floor-focused leader who is obsessed with the details. From machine presentation and promotion execution to the proactive service that makes our regulars feel like VIPs, you will be the driving force behind our room’s success. A day in the life of a Gaming Manager
- Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
- Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
- Share your gaming know‑how and help your team be the best in the biz
- Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift Inherent requirements
- This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently. About you
- You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
- You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
- You understand compliance and secure gaming inside out
