Medical Receptionist (Jimboomba)

Our Practice is a beautifully equipped, friendly family practice offering high quality medical care located in Jimboomba close to Brisbane.

We are currently seeking an **Experienced General Practice Receptionist** to join our team. We are looking for confident Medical Receptionist who can demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for the reception.

Recruitment of casual Receptionist:

- Experience in the following duties would be advantageous:

- Greeting patients with a high level of customer service.
- Answering incoming calls, registering patients and making appointments
- Collecting and processing payments, cash handling and reconciliation **(Bp experience highly regarded)**.
- Medicare claiming, DVA and inpatient accounts
- Typing of medical reports and ensuring all results are sent out promptly.
- Scanning/Faxing as well as placing orders for supplies as required.
- Providing cover for planned/sick leave.
- General Duties
- Monitor waiting room to ensure patients are comfortable and inform of wait times
- Maintain a well organised, clean, productive and confidential work space
- Maintain cleanliness of the practice
- Maintain stationary and clinic supplies
- Attend to end of day routine cleaning and stock requirements and ensure all furniture and equipment is clean and tidy

Pay: $31.09
- $33.56 per hour

Expected hours: 15
- 25 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
