About you You are an enthusiastic marketing and communications qualified who enjoys working in a high-performing and collaborative team. You have a few years’ experience supporting the development of communications material and have a demonstrated understanding of organic social media strategies and relevant target markets. You are good at managing multiple projects and have strong attention to detail. You can deliver work on time and to a high standard. You enjoy building strong working relationships within your team, centre, and the wider ECU community. You excel in managing priorities to meet deadlines and ensuring resources are effectively applied to the most impactful content. About the role Reporting to the Digital Activation Manager, you will support a range of social media activities, including: Developing, implementing, scheduling, and monitoring effective targeted social media content for a range of content pillars and themes. Producing or sourcing relevant written, photo, video, and graphic design content that aligns with ECU’s brand style guides and is crafted to receive high audience engagement. Undertake social media monitoring for engagement, moderation, and escalation. Identifying social media trends and user-generated content, assessing its suitability for ECU’s brand, its alignment with our social media strategy, and our target audiences. Analyse the performance of ECU’s main social media presences and make recommendations for required actions to improve engagement. Work with ECU students to develop content suitable for our socials. Show an aptitude for robust data analytics and a willingness to use native social media platforms, third-party social media management tools, job tracking software, and data visualisation tools. Role Criteria Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation. Relevant experience coordinating and delivering a schedule of high-performing social media content, and a demonstrated understanding of social media strategies and relevant target audiences. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a large and complex organisation, with a strong focus on excellent customer service. Strong skills in developing social media content, including but not limited to written content, photography, videography, and graphic design, with demonstrated high levels of engagement. Provide examples if possible. Effective communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. Benefits & Remuneration This full-time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
