LECTURER – ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (POWER SYSTEMS) Location: Joondalup Campus. Salary: $117,905–$139,307 pa (ALEVB). Employment Type: Full‑time, ongoing. About the Prospect The School of Engineering seeks a Lecturer in Electrical Power Engineering to contribute to teaching, research, and industry engagement.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in electrical power engineering.
- Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation, high‑school engagement, and academic administration.
- Conduct high‑quality research, secure funding, and supervise honours, postgraduate coursework, and HDR students.
- Develop scholarly research nationally and internationally.
- Maintain and strengthen industry partnerships fostering teaching, research, and innovation. About You
- Bachelor’s degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering) or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality teaching in electrical power engineering units.
- Evidence of or potential for conducting high‑quality research, publishing, and securing competitive funding.
- Experience or capacity to supervise honours, postgraduate coursework, and HDR students.
- Commitment to curriculum development, accreditation, academic administration, and outreach.
- Industry engagement experience to build productive partnerships.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
