LECTURER – ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (POWER SYSTEMS)
Location: Joondalup Campus. Salary: $117,905–$139,307 pa (ALEVB). Employment Type: Full‑time, ongoing. Open to candidates with relevant working rights.
About the Prospect
The School of Engineering seeks a Lecturer in Electrical Power Engineering to contribute to teaching, research, and industry engagement.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in electrical power engineering.
Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation, high‑school engagement, and academic administration.
Conduct high‑quality research, secure funding, and supervise honours, postgraduate coursework, and HDR students.
Develop scholarly research nationally and internationally.
Maintain and strengthen industry partnerships fostering teaching, research, and innovation.
About You
Bachelor’s degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering) or related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality teaching in electrical power engineering units.
Evidence of or potential for conducting high‑quality research, publishing, and securing competitive funding.
Experience or capacity to supervise honours, postgraduate coursework, and HDR students.
Commitment to curriculum development, accreditation, academic administration, and outreach.
Industry engagement experience to build productive partnerships.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
