Team Leader, Student Engagement (City of Joondalup)

Student Life Director Ongoing, Full time, Joondalup and City Campus. Salary: $107,151 to $120,060 pa (HEW7). Open to candidates with relevant working rights. About the role The Student Life Directorate delivers services and evidence-based programs for current students that aim to improve health and wellbeing and support students to succeed in their higher education studies. The Directorate has three major teams: (1) Health and Wellbeing; (2) Students course advice, progress and success; and (3) Student Experience and Voice. It focuses on a person-centred approach and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and operationalise student engagement initiatives that drive belonging, connection and participation across the student lifecycle.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver inclusive, coordinated and high-impact programmes.
- Develop and drive a high-performing team, ensuring effective evidence-based planning, delivery and continuous improvement of engagement activities. About You / Qualifications
- Proven success in leading engagement programmes or events that enhance participation and create inclusive, student-centred experiences.
- Experience making an impact and influencing outcomes through data-informed decision-making, programme evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead, inspire and collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver complex initiatives and build strong, effective partnerships.
