We’re looking for a detail-driven and analytical professional to join our People & Culture team as an HR Reward, Reporting and Data Analyst. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for external legislative reporting and reward analytics, ensuring compliance while delivering insights that inform strategic decisions. About the Role This role is central to ECU’s commitment to transparency, compliance, and evidence-based decision-making. You will lead the preparation and submission of all external legislative reports, ensuring ECU meets its statutory obligations with accuracy and integrity. Beyond compliance, you’ll play a key role in shaping ECU’s reward strategies by analysing remuneration data and conducting benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures. You’ll also support major People & Culture projects by preparing and interpreting data for initiatives such as staff engagement surveys and organisational improvement programs. Your expertise will extend to developing dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility of workforce metrics and trends, enabling internal stakeholders to make informed decisions. While business-as-usual reporting forms a minor part of the role, your focus will be on delivering high-value insights and innovative solutions that enhance ECU’s people strategy. This is an opportunity to combine technical skill with strategic impact—turning data into decisions that shape the future of work at ECU. About you Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related discipline or equivalent experience and/or training. Experience in HR reporting and analytics, including external legislative reporting. Strong skills in remuneration analysis, benchmarking, and dashboard development. Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Ability to work collaboratively and communicate insights clearly including developing meaningful narrative based on data trends and observations.
