Senior Building Surveyor – Full Time

Salary: $117,301 – $124,012 per annum

Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

Restricted private use of a vehicle

An exciting prospect has arisen for a qualified and experienced building surveyor to join the City in our Building Approvals team.

As one of two Senior Building Surveyors, your role will be to process a wide range of building permit applications, support and mentor less experienced staff, and provide a high level of customer service, accurate advice and timely decision making.

Key Selection Criteria

Experience and ability to interpret the NCC BCA, legislation, local laws, and policies and procedures.

Experience in supervising staff within a building approvals workplace.

Ability to manage time, set priorities and organise work within a team setting.

Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying.

Current registration as a Building Surveying Practitioner.

Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).
