- 4:06pmReporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our Menora Gardens Retirement Living community is of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. **Key Responsibilities:*** Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard. Perform planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and general landscaping tasks.* Ensure all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing.* Conduct routine inspections to identify and address gardening needs.* Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.* Collaborate with the facility team to create outdoor spaces that support resident well-being.* Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.**To be successful, you will have**
* Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment* Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience* Current valid drivers' licence* Evidence of Australian work rights* NDIS workers Screen (or willing to obtain)* Flu Vaccination (Recommended)* A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role* Availability to participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service**Our benefits** Our culture is both supportive and cooperative, where you can make your role your own.
