Production Assistant - Manufacturing (Laverton)

**Position Purpose**

The purpose of the Production Assistant at Derrimut 24/7 Gym is to support the efficient and high-quality production of supplements by performing key tasks across preparation, production, cleaning, and maintenance within the warehouse. The role ensures all operations are carried out in compliance with industry-leading standards, health and safety regulations, and Derrimut’s internal quality policies. By assisting with the smooth running of day-to-day production, the Production Assistant contributes to the creation of high-quality supplements that align with the brand’s commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and safety.

- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (willing to obtain)

**Position Overview**
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment throughout the supplement production process, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in the mixing, blending, and packaging of supplements in accordance with production schedules and specifications.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
- Manufacture products according to the production calendar, ensuring alignment with production targets.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant industry standards to maintain hygiene and product integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse to promote a safe and productive working environment.
- Assist with the organisation, storage, and retrieval of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products within the warehouse.
- Conduct routine inventory checks, reporting any discrepancies to the Production Manager.
- Assist in labelling, packaging, and preparing products for shipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Report any safety concerns, accidents, or equipment malfunctions to the Production Manager immediately.
