Machine Operator (Narangba)

Multisteps is a successful and established food packing manufacture with over 20 years of expertise with a new factory establishing in Queensland North. We are looking for Machine operators to fill vacancies.

Reporting to the Production Manager:

- Set, maintain and monitor machine to make sure it is functioning properly
- Set machinery ensuring all specifications are monitored and maintained throughout the process
- Take corrective action immediately if any machine or quality problems arise
- Provide feedback when prescribed time frames are not met
- Consistently ensure all OH&S; and housekeeping procedures are completed
- Monitor waste and attempt to keep under allowable limits

**Qualifications**:

- Experienced Machine Setter
- Mechanical aptitude, solve problems and machine troubleshooting
- Ability to handle high-pressure environment and can work as part of a team and with little supervision
- Understanding of and commitment to secure work techniques and practices
- A good understanding of HACCP and Food Safety requirements.
- Hold a Fork Lift license
- Good attention to detail
- Display a strong commitment to safety
- Be self-motivated
- Have a willingness to learn all aspects of the job

Experience in Thermoforming highly encouraged to apply

Training will be provided

Current hours available will be 6am
- 2pm, 2pm
- 10pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $27.00
- $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Narangba, QLD 4504: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machine operating: 1 year (preferred)
