Job Overview

Singh's Curry House is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full‑time basis at our Narangba location in Queensland, Australia.

Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori meats and breads.

Ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection and are presented according to our high standards.

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene standards.

Assisting with menu planning and creating new and cutting-edge dishes.

Ordering and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies.

Training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all recipes and food safety procedures.

Collaborating with management to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer concerns or special requests.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience working in an Indian restaurant, with a strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking techniques. They must also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a quick‑paced environment.

Compensation & Growth

This is a full‑time position with a salary range of $75,000 to $78,000 per year, plus superannuation. The successful candidate will also have the prospect for growth and development within our expanding company.
