Job Overview Singh's Curry House is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full‑time basis at our Narangba location in Queensland, Australia. Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori meats and breads.
- Ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection and are presented according to our high standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assisting with menu planning and creating recent and innovative dishes.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- Training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all recipes and food safety procedures.
- Collaborating with management to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer concerns or special requests. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience working in an Indian restaurant, with a robust knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking techniques. They must also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Compensation & Growth This is a full‑time position with a salary range of $75,000 to $78,000 per year, plus superannuation.
