Role and Responsibilities:

Organizing and controlling the stores products, stock level and service standards

Ensuring that merchandise is available for all special occasions and displays are current and

according to the store specials. Local marketing of store specials by dropping pamphlets via

Australia post

Ability to effectively handle customer complaints and queries

Implementing pricing for all the stock in the store

Maintaining records of all stock levels and financial transactions

Analyses Sales figures and forecast future sales volume to maximize profits

Preparing monthly budgets and sales reports

Comparing budget vs actual sales and taking required actions

Managing staff requirement and selection process

Training and supervising staff within the store and organizing staff rosters

Ensure that staff levels are adequate as per busy time of the store

Ensuring that store is in compliance with the occupational health and standards and

regulations

Ensure that store meets all the regularity requirements such as Health department

Relevant Qualifications
- Cert / Diploma in Retail Management or Business Management

3 years of prior experience in a similar role

People friendly, can-do attitude
