About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Retail Supervisor to oversee daily store operations in our busy food retail outlet. This role is critical in ensuring smooth store performance, leading a team, and maintaining compliance with food safety and workplace standards. This position is suitable for candidates looking to build a long-term career in retail supervision within the hospitality/quick service restaurant industry. Location & Lifestyle (Important Information) This position is based in Karratha, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, a remote regional area located approximately 1,530 km north of Perth. - Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the retail food outlet to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
- Lead, train, and support team members, ensuring adherence to company procedures and service standards
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, manage ordering, and minimise wastage in line with business targets
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and workplace health & safety requirements
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high service standards
- Assist in staff rostering, shift supervision, and performance monitoring
- Maintain store cleanliness, food presentation, and visual merchandising standards
- Support achievement of sales targets, cost control, and overall store profitability Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality/Retail
- OR
- at least
- 1 year of full-time relevant work experience in retail or hospitality supervision
- Proven ability to supervise staff in a fast-paced food or retail environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
