The Role Join our team as a Mainstream Education Assistant and play a vital role in shaping the lives of students. As an Education Assistant you will support teachers in delivering planned education programs and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This is an opportunity to make a real cultural impact in the lives of students and to develop your own skills and autonomy in a supportive setting.
- Assist teachers in delivering planned education programs, including the operation of computers and implementation of individual or small group programs or demonstrations.
- Maintain the learning environment by keeping equipment, materials and resources organized and ready for use in classes and activities.
- Help keep the classroom clean and safe. Eligibility
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
