About the role G4S provides security for a major energy provider to ensure a secure and hazard‑free environment for their operation. Our Facility Security Officers are trained to support our energy client in delivering energy services safely. In a varied role, your primary responsibility is to ensure the immediate safety and security of the premises and all people on the premises. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Patrolling large areas.
- Serve as part of an Initial Response Team and respond to emergencies and assist paramedics.
- Provide surveillance and de‑escalate incidents.
- Perform drug and alcohol tests.
- Provide customer service by assisting all of our client’s staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Ensure all facility security systems and services are compliant.
- Submit detailed reports on safety and security hazards or breaches. What we’re looking for
- Hold a Western Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Hold a Western Australian Security License – Static Guard/Crowd Control.
- Hold a Certificate II Security Operations.
- Have received or renewed your CPR cert within the year.
