About the Role In this role, you will assist our Boilermaker with a variety of workshop and site-based tasks while learning valuable hands‑on skills in fabrication, repairs, and maintenance work. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get their foot in the door in the trade industry, with the potential to progress into a Boilermaker Apprenticeship for the right person. - Assisting with boilermaker and fabrication tasks
- Using hand and power tools
- Grinding, cutting, and preparation work
- General workshop and labouring duties
- Maintaining a clean and protected work environment
- Supporting site maintenance and repair work as required Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in fabrication, welding, or becoming a Boilermaker
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Current Driver’s Licence preferred
- Willingness to occasionally work weekends and flexible hours
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S;) regulations
- Ability to pass a Medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test
- Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills for efficient work
