Maintenance Fitter (Oberon)

Job Details About us Australian Panels is Australia’s leading manufacturer of board products for all joinery and structural flooring applications. This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis and is to be based in Oberon NSW At Borg Manufacturing we believe innovative people, unique manufacturing and logistics are the foundation of our business. Roster Permanent Day Shift position available with the following 14 day rotation. Monday to Thursday Week 1 Tuesday to Friday Week 2 Enjoy a 4 day weekend every fortnight to ensure a positive work/lifestyle balance. What are we looking for? Australian Panels are looking to add a permanent full-time fitter to the growing maintenance team. This role will support the maintenance department with the provision of preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting programming / control faults. The position will also be involved with mechanical and system control projects and you will be involved with both start of the art machinery and manufacturing techniques.
- Desirable, Skills & Experience
- Be a qualified and experienced tradesperson
- Have experience in machine trouble-shooting/problem-solving and fault finding
- Have experience in preventative maintenance
- Be able to demonstrate experience in the maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
