Machine Operator - Press Machines (Keilor)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to operate our press machines. Job Summary: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our press machines to produce high-quality steel products. Your precision and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the machines run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical understanding of press machines and a commitment to safety and quality. Standard hours are Monday to Friday 6am
- 2pm with some overtime on offer from time to time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate Press Machines according to production requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary maintenance on the machines
- Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily production targets
- Comply with all safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably with Press Machines or similar equipment
- Technical understanding of press machine operations and mechanics
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Solid attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- Must have forklift license
- Commitment to safety protocols and a clean working environment
- Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility for overtime during busy periods
