- $80,000 per year As a Welder at Design Inferno Glass, you will play a key role in fabricating and assembling metal frameworks and fittings that support a wide range of custom glass products. These include shower screens, splashbacks, glass floors, balustrades, and bespoke architectural features. Your work will ensure structural integrity, aesthetic quality, and seamless integration with glass components. Main Tasks & Duties Fabricate and weld metal frames, brackets, and supports for a wide range of products including: Frameless and semi-frameless shower screens Glass splashbacks and wall panels Glass floors, staircases, and balustrades Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans. Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel without supervision. Grind, polish, and finish metal surfaces to match design specifications. Collaborate with glaziers and performing installation to ensure accurate fitting and alignment with supervision.
