**The Opportunity**: We are looking for an experienced Educational Leader wanting to take the next step in their career.

**Duties include: **
- Working in partnership with the Centre Manager to support the daily operations and administration of the Centre.
- Responsibility for the development, implementation and reflection of a high-quality program based on service values and philosophy.
- Providing inspiration, mentoring and guidance to educators.
- Creating a positive and empowering workplace environment that delivers the highest levels of care.
- Work off the floor to support the team in programming and practice.
- Work collaboratively with other Buttercups educational leaders in a Community of Practice to drive a curriculum that supports a love of learning.
- Have oversight to ensure each room and outdoor environment in the centre is immaculately presented creating a warm welcoming feeling.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- An excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Education and Care Regulations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Leadership role in an Early Childhood Service or minimum 5 years’ experience working in an Early Childhood Service.
- Solid leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with staff, children and families.
- Current First Aid certificate, WWCC, and Police Clearance.
