General Labourer & Mobile Pant Operator (Karragullen)

**Position Overview**: This role involves performing general labour duties and operating mobile plant equipment for civil drainage maintenance and construction projects. The position requires working outdoors in varying conditions, ensuring safe and efficient completion of tasks related to drainage systems, earthworks, and associated civil infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drainage Maintenance & Construction**:

- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of stormwater and drainage systems.
- Assist with excavation of trenches and prepare sites for pipe laying and other drainage works.
- Perform backfilling, compaction, and site clean-up after works are completed.
- **General Labour Duties**:

- Manual handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support supervisors and operators on-site as required.
- Grounds/Asset maintenance (including: fencing repair, lawn mowing)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- **Mobile Plant Operation**:

- Operate machinery such as excavators and skid steers.
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant equipment.
- Ensure compliance with site safety and traffic management plans.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Prior experience and qualifications would be an advantage however on the job training and qualifications will be provided.

Pay: $30.00
- $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
