As the **Security and Protection Specialist WA/SA/NT** your main objective is to provide robust support to the National Security and Protection Manager.. You’ll be tasked with conducting meticulous investigations into significant instances of cash or stock loss and promptly responding to critical security incidents or criminal activity.

This role also encompasses thorough reviews of physical security measures and procedural integrity, particularly concerning the security of team members, customers, Endeavour Assets and the requirement to provide comprehensive findings and recommendations based on these evaluations.

Here’s a snapshot of the **Security and Protection Specialist** responsibilities:

- You’ll adopt a proactive stance, primarily spending time in our sites, while collaborating closely with Store teams.
- Conduct thorough on-site investigations into critical security and criminal activity incidents and into cash or stock loss as deemed necessary.
- Engage stakeholders to identify and implement actions to mitigate against future incidents, maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as Police, other regulatory bodies, and security related service providers.
- Work in conjunction with Risk and Protection functional units and Business Operations and Support teams to scrutinise procedural irregularities for the purpose of minimising losses and enhancing efficiency.
- Support the National Security and Protection Manager completing reviews into high severity incidents, mitigation measures and training where required
- Provide support to Operations teams and leaders in investigations and to the National Security and Protection Manager to prioritise, develop and lead programs for various security initiatives.
- Support with creation or updates to policy/procedural and training/development material.
- Collaborate with Operations Leaders to ensure appropriate deployment of security guard services and to manage planning, budgets and expenditure.
- Seek to maintain and improve the security of our team and visitors, whilst minimising disruption to customers’ experience.
- Support in the development of appropriate business case investments and programs utilising a cost / benefit assessment to “target harden” physical assets in Endeavour businesses.

- Proficient in presenting data in various forms for presentations (Google Slides)
- Commercial acumen
- ability to analyse and interpret various data points relating to Loss Prevention, and develop insights
- Demonstrated time / task management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- Lateral Influencing skills using a positive, coaching communication style.
- Relevant experience in a comparable role or within Endeavour Operations (minimum of 3 years).

Desirable Skills:

- Thorough understanding of security risk evaluation, and experience in developing solutions
- Demonstrated experience in conducting complex investigations of a criminal nature.
- Lateral Influencing skills using a positive, coaching communication style.
