**The Role**

The successful applicant will support the coordination and delivery of the Student Support Program, helping to ensure it is responsive to the needs of Aboriginal students, their families, and school staff. You will contribute to the development and implementation of effective systems and intervention strategies, while also providing practical advice to teachers on approaches that support Aboriginal student engagement and learning, including facilitating group work where appropriate.

A key part of the role involves building solid, supportive connections between students, families, the school, and relevant community organisations, as well as establishing partnerships with government and non-government agencies. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, offering informed input and consultancy advice, and assist in conducting student assessments in collaboration with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.

**Eligibility**

To work with us, you must:

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
