About Us Edge Engineering is a Perth-based business specialising in precision machine tool services for the manufacturing and engineering sectors. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to take ownership of the contract side of our engineering work
- from drafting and negotiating agreements through to managing them once projects are underway. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and management to ensure every job is contractually sound, well documented, and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and administer contracts and contract documentation
- Review and negotiate contract variations, keeping all changes properly documented
- Monitor contract performance, claims, and compliance, flagging issues for attention
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders on contractual matters and prepare related correspondence and reports
- Keep management informed of contractual matters and help action decisions
- Oversee subcontractor work against contract terms and report on variations to work orders
- Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and compliance documentation, and assist with tenders
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready contract records and handle sensitive information securely
- Ensure contracts comply with company policy and Australian regulations
- Provide some project coordination support, including following up quotes, purchase orders, and invoices Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar role, with a relevant qualification (or equivalent experience in lieu)
- Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and variations
- Experience in the Perth engineering industry highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience with CMMS/maintenance software (e.g. Limble) and accounting platforms such as Xero, or the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Advanced computer skills and an interest in process improvement
- Right to work in Australia, a valid Australian driver's licence, and availability for permanent full-time work What We Offer
