Customer Service Assistant (Keysborough)

UpDown Desk is a thriving Australian online retailer of premium electric standing desks and ergonomic furniture. We cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals working from home, home offices, small-to-medium businesses, and select wholesale partners. Our core value is treating customers as we would want to be treated, and we are looking for a friendly and reliable Customer Service Assistant to contribute to our team.

**Position**: Part-time, ongoing. Potential for increased hours in the future.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer Support:

- Troubleshooting technical issues with customers (electrical and installation).
- Handling sales inquiries.
- Processing orders and providing updates.
- Managing couriers and freight (tracking, collections, dispatches).
- Customer Inquiries:

- Answering phone calls.
- Responding to live website chat.
- Showroom sales by appointment.
- Other related tasks as needed within a small team environment.

**Requirements**:

- Solid attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly and patient).
- Must be comfortable instructing customers how to fix and install their desk.
- Handyperson experience is helpful but not required (training provided).
- Legally authorized to work in Australia.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks in a growing business.

**Details**:

- Start Date: Immediate.
- Pay: $30 per hour + superannuation.
- Hours: 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday (ideally 10am-2pm Mon-Thu, 12-4pm Fri).
- Location: Keysborough office.
- Reporting: Operations Manager.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
