- Hybrid arrangement (3 days office, 2 days WFH) Chisholm is seeking an experienced Communications Coordinator to join the Marketing and Communications team. This position will be Full time 1.0 FTE for 2 years, and then the time fraction for this position will reduce to 0.8 FTE and will be Ongoing thereafter. As Communications Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering clear, engaging communications that help the Chisholm community stay informed and connected. You’ll be close to the action, working on communications that are seen, used and relied on every day. Reporting to the Communications Manager, and supporting Communications Specialists, you’ll coordinate end‑to‑end delivery across a range of owned and earned channels including newsletters, intranet, digital screens, website updates, campaign communications, and more. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to shape, schedule and publish timely, audience‑focused content, using established templates, processes and standards. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality execution, and likes seeing their work out in the world. You’ll balance working independently with being an active, valued contributor in a close‑knit, high‑performing Marketing and Communications team. You will understand how your work fits into the bigger organisational picture and know when to confidently progress work and when to escape sensitive or non‑standard matters. Qualifications and skills required for the role You will have a relevant Degree and relevant experience; or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical and administrative fields; or a suitable combination of relevant qualifications and experience. You bring positive energy, curiosity and a robust sense of responsibility to your work. You care about how communications land with people, and you enjoy turning complex or detailed information into content that feels clear, useful and engaging.
