We're partnering with a large, well-established industrial business in Keysborough with a sizeable blue-collar workforce. They're looking for a confident HR Advisor / HR Officer or HR Business Partner, who is comfortable supporting supervisors, and managing real employee relations matters in a fast-paced operational environment. What you'll be doing
- Providing day-to-day HR support to supervisors and operational managers
- Managing ER matters including performance, conduct, investigations and terminations
- Interpreting Awards, EBAs and workplace legislation
- Managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Supporting and overseeing weekly payroll processes and ensuring compliance with Awards/EBAs
- Supporting recruitment and workforce planning for trades and operators
- Coaching leaders on handling people issues correctly and confidently
- Maintaining HR compliance, records, systems and reporting
- Being present on site, supporting workforce engagement What we're looking for
- 3+ years in a HR Advisor / HR Officer role within industrial / blue-collar environments
- SAP or Oracle experience highly regarded
- Solid understanding of Awards, EBAs, payroll compliance and Fair Work legislation
- Solid ER experience and confidence handling difficult conversations
- Experience managing payroll, onboarding and offboarding processes
- Experience supporting operational leaders, supervisors or production managers
- Someone comfortable being visible on site and building rapport with frontline staff
