- opening late June 2026 We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse / Assistant Practice Manager to join our brand new GP clinic as we prepare to open our doors. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is looking to expand beyond clinical nursing and gain valuable management and leadership experience within a supportive and growing environment. The role is designed to grow alongside both the clinic and the successful candidate, making it ideal for someone ambitious, proactive, and eager to be part of building something from the ground up. You will work closely with the Practice Manager, reception team, and General Practitioners to help create a high-quality, patient-focused clinic culture from day one. About the Role This hybrid position will involve a combination of:
- Administering immunisations
- Creating care plans and managing chronic disease management plans
- Conducting health assessments
- Performing wound care
- Providing triage to patients
- Assisting GPs with minor procedures
- Assisting with day-to-day clinic operations
- Supporting the Practice Manager with administrative and organisational tasks
- Contributing to workflow development and clinic systems
- Assisting with stock management, accreditation processes, and compliance
- Supporting staff coordination and overall patient experience As the clinic grows, there will be opportunities for the role to further develop and evolve. What We’re Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in General Practice nursing preferred
- Experience with Best Practice medical software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Interest in leadership, operations, and practice management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
