Role Overview

As a Customer Service Officer at Bendigo Bank, you will be the driver of service delivery, helping customers achieve their banking goals.

Employment Details

Permanent, full‑time position primarily in Kilmore, with adaptable work across Broadford and Wallan as required. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.

Responsibilities Explore customers’ needs through in-depth conversations and help them achieve their financial goals. Partner with branch specialists to provide comprehensive support. Support customers with digital banking and online platforms as the bank innovates. Serve as the face of the branch, processing transactions, handling cash, investigating queries, and assisting with paperwork while managing risk considerations. Embrace lifelong learning and take advantage of on‑the‑job training and external development opportunities. Build connections to support customers, give back, and strengthen the community.

Qualifications Experience in a customer service workplace with a proven ability to achieve targets. Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset. Confidence communicating face‑to‑face and over the phone with current and existing customers. Eagerness to understand and communicate the bank’s unique value proposition. Drive for collaboration; a strong team spirit is essential. Experience in the banking or finance industry is a plus but not essential.
