They are currently expanding culinary offerings to include authentic Indian cuisine who possess strong experience in preparing traditional Indian dishes. This initiative aims to bring rich, flavourful Indian food to our guests. Location: 47 Strathdee Street, Mundubbera, QLD -4626 Roles and Responsibilities:
· Prepare, season and cook food as per a la-carte menu, meeting dietary requirements where required.
· Calculating food and labor costs to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
· Maintain high standards of food hygiene in accordance with regulatory standards.
· Monitors and maintains the quality of dishes throughout every stage of preparation, ensuring that each plate meets high standards in taste, presentation, and adherence to culinary excellence.
· Ordering ingredients and optimizing inventory to support kitchen operations.
· Rectifying arising problems or issues.
· Ensure occupational health and safety standards are always maintained and adhered by the kitchen staff.
· Implement proper freezing and preservation techniques to extend the shelf life of certain ingredients without compromising quality.
· Provide support and assistance where necessary in all areas within the kitchen.
· Ensure the seasoning and garnishing of food is done appropriately and the right portion of food is served to the customers.
· To develop current seasonal menus and make appropriate changes in the existing menu such as changes in prices of food items maintaining minimum overhead costs.
· Educate kitchen staff on hygiene regulations and enforce strict adherence to sanitary practices.
· Oversee kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen activities. Skills and Experience:
· Diploma level Qualification is required.
· The candidate must have at least 1 year experience.
· Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.
· To be energetic & motivated.
· Able to work under pressure. Salary Package: $75,000
