Reporting to the Process Improvement Manager, the Rendering Machinery Operators are responsible for ensuring the Keratin and Blood Meal Production room is maintained in a Safe, Hygienic and efficient manner complying with all Domestic, Export and Company Standards in relation to the production in this room. This role may be best suited for a mechanically minded person however this is not essential.

**Key Duties of this role**
- Preoperational start up checks including valves for Steam, Water and temperature verifications.
- Inspection of equipment throughout production ensuring all requirements are adhered to.
- Maintain production room and lines in an efficient manner.
- Monitoring Quality requirements during production and recording documentation.
- Maintaining hygienic practices in the production room and completing Cleans/CIP at end of production.
- Report any issues to relevant departments Safety, Quality, Production and Maintenance

**Desired Skills and Experience**: **Key Requirements to be considered for the roles include**:

- Mechanically Minded for operating processing equipment (Fitter experience will be advantageous)
- Forklift Ticket
- Not required but be willing to obtain ticket
- Experience in the rendering or food production industry.
- Attendance & Commitment to the business
- Demonstration of Safe and Hygienic work practices
- Ability to work autonomously
