Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate clinical nurse to provide clinical leadership and expert nursing care within our BlueCare residential aged care facilities across the West Queensland region. Role Details
- Employment Term: Permanent positions available
- Location: Facilities across West Queensland region
- Remuneration: $59.43 – $60.70 per hour + Super + Not‑for‑Profit salary packaging + Penalties & Allowances Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical leadership and advice in managing complex resident care needs
- Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of resident care plans to promote health, wellbeing and quality of life
- Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical assessments and documentation
- Support staff orientation, mentoring, clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
- Promote a consultative and collaborative approach to resident care planning and quality activities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, legislation and clinical governance requirements
- Support accurate and timely ACFI assessments to ensure optimal funding outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, residents, families and external stakeholders
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, risk management and workplace health and safety activities Qualifications
- Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Extensive general nursing experience with solid clinical skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
- Understanding of person‑centred, resident‑based care delivery
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Intermediate computer skills and accurate clinical documentation capability
- Ability to meet relevant probity checks and compliance requirements Benefits
