**Junior Dental Assistant**

Kingscliff Family Dental is expanding and we have an opportunity for a dental assistant to join our team. This is a junior position, perfect for a school leaver or an experienced dental assistant

**Here is some of tasks included in your role**
- Provide exceptional patient care and assist our Dentists
- Maintaining our exceptional infection control and sterilisation standards as per ADA guidelines
- Recording treatment info in patient records
- Maintaining all equipment and helping the team with stock ordering
- Processing digital dental x-rays and patient photos
- Play a pro-active role in each day's appointment schedule and patient activities
- Answering phone calls and booking patient appointments
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Helping with reprocessing and sterilising equipment
- A passion for patient care and the health and dental industry
- Dental Assisting experience is preferred, but no necessary
- Empathy and care for our patients and our team
- A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible & adaptable
- An ability to handle pressure and multi-task; And
- A warm & friendly personality with the ability to build relationships easily.

Pay: $22.00
- $35.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
