Residential Care Officer (Jordan Springs)

A Disability Service Provider in Jordan Springs, NSW is looking for an experienced **Residential Care Officer**with a minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar industry. You will be working directly under the Operations Manager where you will have the opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities living in group home/Community settings.

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Residential Care Officer to work with our participants within the community and Supported Independent Living Homes. The successful applicants will work across a range of services but not limited to the just responsibilities as below,
- Interviewing clients and assessing the difficulties
- liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies as per the need
- Develop various support programmes for the participants
- Regularly communicate and provided necessary support to its residents
- Work collaboratively with health professionals, social workers, and educators to provide holistic care.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, ensuring all care practices comply with industry standards
- Assessing the client’s needs, challenges and prepare the report accordingly for further action
- Organise and participate in social and recreational activities that promote inclusion and well-being.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and secure living environment.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interaction.

Have 1+ years' experience in the similar disability or aged care sectors

Excellent communication skills, ability to manage workflow and work under pressure.

**Key Qualifications & experience**
- Leadership, customer service, outstanding communication skills, self-driven with outstanding managerial and caring skills with minimum of Diploma or higher qualification in the similar stream.
- You are eligible to work in Australia and are available for an immediate start
- Must be able to work during the weekends
- Seeking a long-term, full-time role
- Having Australian driving license, NPC, NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check along with all updated vaccination

Pay: $75,000.00
- $80,000.00 per year
