Kitchen Hand (Royston Park)

**What You’ll Do**:

- Assist the kitchen team with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and storing ingredients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
- Organize and restock kitchen supplies, including ingredients, cleaning products, and utensils.
- Dispose of waste and ensure proper handling of recyclables, following food safety standards.
- Assist in unpacking and storing deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and stored appropriately.
- Support the kitchen staff during busy service periods by helping with basic tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

**About You**:

- At least **2 years of experience** in hospitality or a similar kitchen role.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a bonus, but your love for Sri Lankan food and culture is what truly matters.
- A strong work ethic, a keen eye for cleanliness, and attention to detail.
- Eager to learn the art of Sri Lankan cuisine and contribute to delivering an authentic dining experience.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays when our kitchen buzzes with excitement.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and readiness to assist wherever needed.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, from standing for long periods to lifting kitchen supplies.
